NexCradle Privacy Policy

This policy describes the Android monitoring implementation. Live nursery monitoring and alerts are unavailable in the current iOS version. NexCradle streams nursery sound directly between your own devices over your Wi-Fi (or a relay you configure). It needs microphone and notification permissions to work, but NextEra.One does not collect, record or store your audio on a server.

Live audio only

Nursery sound is streamed live between your devices and is never recorded to disk or uploaded by the app.

No ads or sale

NexCradle does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or sell personal and sensitive user data.

Optional encryption

Add a room passphrase and every packet is end-to-end encrypted on Wi-Fi and relay.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the NexCradle Android app and the public NexCradle product pages operated by NextEra.One. It is written to explain how the app accesses, uses, stores and shares user data for Google Play review and for people using the app.

NexCradle does not require a NextEra.One account. If that changes, this policy will be updated before account features are released.

2. Current data use

Data typePurposeWhere it is used or stored
Nursery microphone audioStream live sound from the baby unit to your parent units and detect wake-up sound.Streamed directly between your devices (multicast on your Wi-Fi, or your configured relay). Never recorded or stored.
Rooms, roles and alert historyReconnect your family to the same room and show when the baby room made sound.Local (optionally encrypted) app storage on your device.
Family chat messagesShow your family's messages on devices in the room.Delivered device-to-device; history stays in local app storage on member devices only.

3. Requests and services

The Android monitoring implementation streams audio between devices on Wi-Fi or through the configured relay. Room and alert history remain local. A relay receives the packets needed to forward the session; its operator and policies matter. The current iOS version does not implement nursery monitoring or alerts.

4. Sharing and transfers

  • Nursery audio goes only to devices in the same room on your Wi-Fi, or through the relay server you configured yourself.
  • If you set a room passphrase, audio, chat and files are end-to-end encrypted — your relay only forwards sealed packets.
  • If you install or open NexCradle through Google Play, Google processes Play Store data under Google's policies.

5. Current feature access

  • Microphone: let the baby unit stream the nursery and let you hold-to-soothe
  • Nearby devices / location (Wi-Fi discovery): find your other phones on the same Wi-Fi
  • Notifications: ring wake-up alerts on parent phones and keep monitoring alive in the background

The unavailable integrations listed below are not current permission-dependent features.

6. Local retention and deletion

Removing app storage removes this app's local records and preferences. Keep copies of records you need. Clearing this device does not remove data already received by another app or service; that recipient's retention rules apply.

7. Feature limits

Live monitoring, alerts, VOX and background behavior require the Android implementation and relevant permissions. The browser is for UI checks; this iOS version does not provide nursery monitoring. It is not a replacement for direct supervision or clinical monitoring.

8. Scope of this policy

This page describes the current version. Services you choose to contact have their own privacy and access policies.

9. Changes and contact

NextEra.One may update this policy when NexCradle changes how it handles data. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
